Did the White House Help Plan the Syrian Chemical Attack?*

Just about every action President Barack Obama has taken in the Middle East has somehow supported Muslim extremists and undermined Christians. He has spoken barely a word about the Christian persecution going on in Egypt and he didn't even express outrage at the murder of one of our ambassadors in Benghazi. Instead, he caught a flight to Vegas for a fundraiser right afterward, and has been covering up the murder ever since. It seems pointless to ask what his intentions are. My gut instinct is simply that the president's intentions for our nation's well being are not above board. Sorry, but I just haven't seen anything to change my mind.

And now he is virtually itching to attack Syria, embroiling us in yet another Middle East skirmish. I have been suspicious of Obama's motives on this from the start. Take this how you will, but I wanted to share an article written about the chemical attacks in Syria that sheds light on some odd and disturbing bits of evidence that are coming to the surface. I simply don't trust this administration and information such as is offered in the following article does nothing to mitigate the doubts I have. Maybe I'm hoping someone can offer evidence that would make me change my mind. I'd love to be able to believe in my president.

  1. Julie,

I think your gut instincts are right on and point out what certainly is a troubling undercurrent in regards to this issue of Syria. This president has a trust and truth issue that cannot simply be ignored. And I think the public's rejection of his call to strike Syria is demonstrating this lack of trust in him. Even now he is playing political games with his previous red line proclamation. No longer is it "his" red line but rather it is the community of nations, America, and Congress' credibility that is being tested. It has become clearly apparent that being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for anticipated yet unachieved success is a poor substitute for true leadership.

As you are aware President Obama has stated on various occasions that he is a Christian. With little interest for the Christians in Egypt, and his support of abortion, gay marriage, and the HHS Mandate I am finding it hard to understand where his Christian beliefs start and when his attacks on Christian values will end.

I know that God is the final judge and I am no Holy Bible scholar but I think this quote from The First Letter of John is rather fitting and it states: He who says " I know him" but disobeys his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him. I hope for Mr. Obama's sake and for the good of our country he will find the truth.

  2. Hi Ed = you said it a lot better than I could have (you should have a blog - really). I was outraged yesterday when Obama said his credibility is not on the line - but America's. He is nothing if not an artful dodger - one who infuriates in the process. And from what I can see from all his other actions is that he is no more Christian than an atheist. Perfect quote from FL of John. You hit it spot on. Thanks for your note. I hope you are doing well. God bless.

  3. Hi Julie,

I sincerely appreciate your kind words and the confidence you have in me to start a blog. I did have to take a moment or two to make sure you weren’t just kidding :-). The closest I have come to starting a blog has been signing up on Blogger (which allowed me to send my recent comment to your blog via my iPhone). When I see the quality of your blog with all the content, facts, and heart you put into it I am overwhelmed by the labor of love that is required. I do however appreciate the opportunity to respond with an occasional comment to your compelling postings (hopefully I am not becoming a nuisance). Keep up the great work and as always God Bless.
